Ideal – perfect embodiment,
The best example of something.
“The ideal» exists in mind only, in ideas and representations.
The project is very honest. There wasn’t any resistance from somebody’s side.
Each woman has her own perfect type in her mind, i.e. the type of famous woman, with whom she has something general. It was very important for me to find the point of frankness that proceeds from model. I had a selection of magazine portraits of beautiful and famous women. After the joint browsing of the pictures I asked them some questions:
- Which of these women is inside your mind, which of them is look like you? Appearance of which woman do you wear when you meet some important people or when you fall in love..? from whom do you take example, whose gestures, eye do you looking for in your mind?
I’ve understood the sense of the proverb “still water run deep”.
Women keep track of their type’s ways of life: they secretly examine glossy magazines with the picture of that woman, who is hidden in their mind, that woman, whom nobody can see.
The note of the participant of the project
“My ideal, prototype, image with which I’d like to identify myself, feeling that IT IS ME. But not now and here, but somewhere there: in dreams and disappointed hopes. In general, in other life – in beautiful and bright life – somewhere far away, but not here and not with me. And the only moment and we’re together forever. Like harmony, reality, beauty and infinity. ”
